Crab legs can be kept in the refrigerator up to two days after they have thawed. It is best to begin cooking crab legs right after they have thawed out.

Choices In Cooking Crab Legs

There are several successful methods to cooking crab legs. One that is extremely popular is the traditional steaming method. This will require a large pot and a steamer fixture that can be placed in the pot. An airtight lid is recommended in order to steam the crab legs quickly. Crab legs can even be cooked in a microwave. Wrap the crab legs in a moist paper towel. Cook for two to three minutes.
